Important dates to know :

  • July 2015 : publication of the EN 50575 in the Official Journal of the European Union;
  • November 2015: Publication in the European Union Official Journal of new dates for the CE Marking and the end the coexistence.
  • July 2016 : CE marking comes into force – CE marking becomes possible;
  • July 2017 : CE marking mandatory (end of coexistence).

The system for the assessment and verification of constancy of performance is system 1+ (classification: Aca, B1ca, B2ca, Cca) or 3 (Dca, Eca) :

The manufacturer’s tasks :
Systeme 1+ and 3

  • Definition of the product type,
  • Setting up the Factory Production Control (FPC),
  • Issuing the declaration of performance and labelling the products (CE marking) 

System 3:

  • Responsability of the sampling,

  • Delivery of the certificate of constancy of performance,
